Barbara Henry Endorses Jason Buchsbaum

ROXBURY — Barbara Henry, who served as the First Selectman of Roxbury for 24 years, has endorsed Republican Jason Buchsbaum to be the next State Representative in the 69th District. Henry believes Buchsbaum has the character, experience and skills necessary to best represent the citizens in the 69th District, which includes Roxbury, Bridgewater, most of Southbury and a portion of New Milford.

“I have been impressed with Jason’s strong leadership, his willingness to collaborate and his communication skills. I believe he will be an excellent representative for the people of Roxbury,” said Henry.

“I’m honored to have the support of Barbara Henry,” said Buchsbaum. “I have long admired her common sense and fiscal leadership in Roxbury. Beyond that, her deep connection to her community is the model of leadership I will continue to bring to the District.”

Henry has already noticed Buchsbaum’s presence in town: “It is important for smaller towns to have a voice in Hartford. Jason has already demonstrated the eagerness and ability to advocate for our citizens as our next State Representative.”

Henry joins a growing list of key local and state leadership endorsements for Buchsbaum, including Southbury First Selectman Jeff Manville, New Milford Mayor Pete Bass, Bridgewater Selectman Laszlo Pinter, Region 15 Board of Education Chair Marion Manzo, and many others.

Election day is November 5th. Early voting begins on October 21st. Mr. Buchsbaum can be reached by email at jason@jasonforct.com, through his website, www.jasonforct.com, or on his Facebook page, www.facebook.com/buchsbaumforstaterep.
