Thank you to the Southbury Fraternal Order of Police Lodge for endorsing our campaign for State Representative. I am deeply honored by this endorsement.
The endorsement letter states that the Lodge “proudly stands behind Jason Buchsbaum,” and that “we believe that Jason’s leadership will contribute to a safer and more secure community for all.” The endorsement further explains: “Jason has demonstrated a deep appreciation for the challenges faced by law enforcement officers and has shown a genuine commitment to working collaboratively with the community to address these challenges. His advocacy for policies that enhance public safety, support law enforcement agencies, and promote community engagement resonates with our organization’s values.”
Supporting and advocating for law enforcement and promoting public safety have been priorities of mine since I was first elected in 2015. It has been a privilege working with the brave men and women of the Southbury Police Department over these years, and it means a lot to me that my efforts have made an impact locally. I am so grateful for the services and sacrifices of all our law enforcement professionals, and I will continue to be their advocate when in Hartford.
